Ok I'm the second! Though I have a school report to rush to be handed in on the 3rd of January, I'm here to add an entry.
In retrospect, Christmas 2006 was the most memorable and enjoyable Christmas I have celebrated in my 21 years of life (the past 4 Christmases from 2002 - 2005 were spent at the annual event by my volunteer organisation). Who can forget the shopping trips in Kunming, the steamboat and KTV session on Christmas night, the classic being-locked-out-of-the-main-gate-of-the-hostel-adventure, and all. Now, when I think of the word Christmas, it will never be the same again, because a new meaning to the word has been added in my dictionary. The last few days of the Yunnan trip were made extra-memorable for me.
Do you know why?
It is because of you guys Pandas.
Without you guys, the trip won't be so memorable for me.
Without you guys, I don't think the last few days of the trip will be so enjoyable for me.
Without you guys, Christmas 2006 would have been a rather ordinary one for me.
But I'm still having some degree of post-trip syndrome. I still laugh whenever I think of the fun times we shared during the trip.
Because of you guys, I miss the trip a lot.
Because of you guys, I want to go back in time to relive those wonderful moments.
Because of you guys, 2007 would be a Panda-ish one for me.
Thanks guys. You never know how much you rawk.
With much gratitude,
Pa. Barry Tan FRCPanda (TIC)
