Oh my, my cousin is really pretty! I was seated at her table on tuesday at another cousin's wedding. Almost did not want to go to my gran's bday celebration. But realising that I have such a cute cousin made me change my mind.Today I went with my parents but was seated at a different table. Imagine my disappointment. I had taken a seat directly opposite her at first but had to move to one with my back facing her. Made many serendipitous turns to change glimpses of her during the dinner. When I had to leave I was naturally sad. As Lady Luck would have it, their family drove up while we were waiting for a cab and offered us a lift. We had to sit 5 at the back and she was just beside me. I could have gone to heaven at that point. She kept quiet most of the time, I guess she is shy and nervous. Her mum talked alot and so did mine. Their impression of me is a nerd I think, but a nerd suitable for a son in law maybe. The mum actually thinks I study alot and do not even go to the movies. She was looking for a tuition teacher for my cousin last year, but news of that never reached me, and with tremendous regret that I was unaware of her existence till now. No wonder another cousin of mine took up the tuition, and I truly rue that miss. Got an invitation to her house and I would try to psycho my parents to visit soon. My mum actually tried to hard sell me by saying that doctors are reliable husbands and I would take really good care of the family. The last thing she said before we got home was that if their daughter wants a good life, just find a doctor husband and things would take care of themselves. How innocuous. I definitely came home with a smile. Just wonder when is the next get together.
