What bamboo? was there even any bamboo?

Dear all....
despite everyone's obvious craving for STEAMBOAT.. and absolute disgust for the carcinogenic BBQ ... I think I might want to just get a BBQ tray.. one of those small and ready-to-use onez.

The rationale being .. me being me... pigs being pigs.. is just THAT INTO FOOD. So perhaps we can complement our STEAMBOAT with a tiny weeny piece of cheese sausage.. or a fleckle of golden brown mashmellows.. or just a small bite of that sambal sotong and sambal fishballs?

Ok here is the arbitrary list of food for friday. I am making it up on the spot.

1. Vegetables. Those green leafy ones and there are so many of them I couldn't tell the difference, anyway it will look the same after a few chews.. so yah.. vegetables.

2. More vegetables. In some societies, people sacrifice lambs or kids or virgins to Gods.. The romans(did i get the race wrong?) tried sacrificing Jesus Christ but guess what? WRONG CHOICE! haha
We have a divine automobile owner among our midst whom I think we should accord the same respect. Was about to offer a virgin in the form of Barry to HIM until I realized that _______(fill in the blank yourself)_______ and decided vegetables will do.

3. Fishballs. A good time to rekindle the memories of Qiuting and Colin fishing for fishballs in Yunnan. Things took a bizzarre twist when QT found out Colin is her dad through that incident. No wonder the chinese always make films where children acknowledge their parents under the most unlikely of circumstances. Hard to beat ours though. Next time Mr Jogger wants to marry qiuting, he has to fulfil the task of beating Colin at kiaping fishballs! After all if he cannot even lay his hands on fishballs, how can he lay his hands on QT?

4. Chicken. Slices of chicken thigh and breasts are the most succulent and would certainly go well with our soup base. Or are you guys too chicken to eat chicken?

Q. What Do You Get When You Cross A Chicken With A Bell?

A. An Alarm Cluck.

5. Beef? I do not eat beef but I guess it should be alright for you guys.

6. Scallop

7. Limpets. No they are not injured pets.. nor are they owned by Mr Lim.

8. Fresh Fish slices. Or anything that resembles fresh fish which we can get at 10pm.

9. REAL Crab Sticks. Apparently the usual crab sticks we get are full of prawn meat. But the Japanese ones are genuine crab meat. The ones they put in Ajisen. And Now I have the urge to have a bowl of Ramen from Ajisen. ANd I guess you probably feel the same way as you read this?

10. Mushrooms. Inoki mushrooms? enoki mushrooms? I forgot how they spell but I won't forget how they look or taste. So they better watch out. I am going to get them!

11. BBQ Salmon with chilli

12. BBQ Sotong with Chilli

13. Hana maki? This is salmon rolled around rice with Mayonnaise and ROE on top.

14. Fresh Oyster. Squeeze some lemon onto it and you are in heaven
15. Marshmellow
16. Tang Yuan. Rice Dumplings. I know this would be hard to pull off. But with the steamboat we can just cook this in an aluminiumfoil styled into bowl and have one of those cans of syruped peanut soup. COme on, it is the Chinese New Year!
17. A packet of YUSHENG and we will LAO AH LAO !
